Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) were introduced to help improve the energy efficiency of buildings.
Since October 2008 EPCs have been required whenever a building is built, sold or rented out. The certificate provides A to G ratings for the building, with A begin the most energy efficient and G being the least, with the average up to now being D.
Accredited energy assessors produce EPCs alongside an associated report which suggested improvements to make a building more energy efficient.

David joined Hallett and Co in 1980 and qualified as a solicitor in 1990.
He became a Partner in the firm in 1994 and heads our residential conveyancing department.
He deals with all aspects of conveyancing, including the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties, buying to let and tenancy agreements and leases.

Kacy Ford - Legal Executive
Kacy joined Hallett and Co in September 2002 and is a qualified Legal Executive.
